This 'plug' is not really a plug at all. Rather, it is used to splice 2 pieces of 18 gauge 10 amp spt1 wire together. This is helpful for creating connections with jumps between sections of a roofline, for example. Or for making the end of a section of socket wire longer or making an SPT1 extension cord longer. Also commonly known as a One Plug.
