Description

A native of Manchuria China, the Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia Glyptostroboides) makes a wonderful bonsai tree. It was thought to be extinct until it's "re-discovery" in the 1940's"

Like the beloved Redwoods of California, the bark is a distinct red.

The foliage is a lacy green, that will change color in the fall -- and fall off.

Keep this deciduous forest outdoors.
