Description

This dwarf rhododendron ("checkmate") is a dense evergreen that is noted for its large trusses of showy purple flowers that look very similar to an azalea.

It has very small green leaves with a hint of blue in them, and they turn bronze in the winter.

This is an outdoor "evergreen" bonsai.
