Pink Muhly Grass Plant
Muhly grass is native to the central and eastern parts of the United States and south to Mexico and Guatemala. This grass is found naturally in clay or thin rocky soils, especially in those soils that were formerly burned and prairie-like. They are also found in open woodlands, savannas, dry woodlands, and the mountains around rock outcrops.
The genus, Muhlenbergia, was named after Gotthilf Muhlenberg, a botanist, chemist, and mineralogist. This Pink Muhly Grass Plant adds unique texture and interest to any garden. Standing 2-3 feet tall, the attractive pink plumes will make an eye-catching statement in your yard. Plant one gallon size.
Your plant will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. These have been growing in one gallon containers. The plants will be between 7 to 10 inches in height with well-developed roots.
