Pinguicula 'Riva'
Pinguicula 'Riva'
Pinguicula 'Riva' is a beautiful cultivar created and registered by Mark Rubnitz. This cultivar is undetermined, but it appears to be a cross between (Pinguicula agnata "scented flower" x P. gigantea) x (P. gigantea x P. emarginata). This cultivar germinated in late 2013 and was registered in 2018 as Pinguicula 'Riva' for Riva Rubnitz, Mark's mother. One unique characteristic of P. 'Riva' is its beautiful white flower with a bright yellow center which is surrounded by a purple ring, the plant also turns from pale green to burgundy under intense lights.
You'll get a similar plant to the ones in the pictures. Please note that some plants are greener than others but will turn pinkish/reddish under intense light.
The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.
Medium plants are about 1" in diameter

The plant has been growing under LED lights with a temperature of 75~80° during the day and 55~70° at night.
