Mai Vang Vietnamese Mickey (Ochna Serrulata)

Mickeymouse Tree, is an evergreen shrub native to South Africa. In the spring, blooms small yellow five petaled flower. Flower name depends on the shades of red and black look like Mickey Mouse's face. Part part looks like a red face and ears look like flowers, black or green eyes is a fruit.

Growing Mai Vang Vietnamese Mickey

• Well-draining soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH is preferred.  
• Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering, especially during the dormant season.
• Requires full sun for optimal growth and flowering, at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
• Prefers moderate temperatures but can tolerate some cold, especially during the dormant season. Protect from frost during winter.
• Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches.
• Thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 8 to 10.
