Chocolate Ghost Pepper Plants

The Chocolate Ghost Pepper is a cross between the red Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) pepper and the 7 Pot Douglah. That lineage creates this fabulous yet dangerous pepper which can have pods hotter than the Ghost Pepper. The Chocolate Ghost Pepper plant can grow up to 4 ft. and produce peppers that grow around 2-3" long with wrinkly skin. Maturing from green to dark brown, the Bhut Jolokia Chocolate Pepper is a slightly sweet, super hot pepper with a hint of smoke, and then it will bring a deceiving slow burn that builds up over time. You will likely taste the flavorful tones of this pepper for at least 30 seconds until it throws a major punch. Nevertheless, this is an absolutely fun Chile to grow and expand your growing list!
