The flowers are white and striking, and bloom in the late spring. Leaves are medium green, shiny, and remain on the plant throughout the year. The fruit is edible but is best left to the birds. The fruits stain concrete so be careful where you place it. It tends to grow in slopes, at elevations from 0-2000 feet.
