California Gold Bougainvillea 

California Gold bougainvillea is a moderately-vigorous large evergreen vine with dark green broadly-ovate pointed leaves that have a slightly wavy margin. It profusely produces its gold yellow bracts all along the entire length of its stems in multiple flushes from late spring through fall and often into winter in mild years with the small white flowers within the bracts.

Growing California Gold Bougainvillea

• Thrives in well-draining soil, preferring sandy or loamy soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5.
• Water sparingly once established, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings; avoid overwatering.
• Prefers full sun, needing at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth and flowering.
• Tolerates high temperatures well but protect from frost, as it's sensitive to cold.
  
• Prune after flowering to shape the plant and remove any dead or leggy growth.
• Best suited for USDA Hardiness Zones 9 to 11.
