The fastest growing of the tree ferns and a stunning specimen for adding a tropical element to large containers on patios or indoors, or in temperate landscapes. A frost-tender evergreen. Australian tree ferns are excellent for shaded nooks and under the canopies of larger shade trees. They add a decidedly lush exotic character to any space, be it under eaves or in atriums. Give them plenty of room overhead and combine with large-leafed foliage plants and very fiery colored exotic flowers.

Growing Australian Tree Fern

• Plant in a location with partial to full shade, as it prefers indirect sunlight and can tolerate low light conditions.
• Provide well-draining, rich, and slightly acidic soil with plenty of organic matter to promote healthy growth and prevent water-logging.
• Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, as Australian Tree Fern thrives in humid environments and requires ample moisture.
