Description
The Buddhist Pine, Podocarpus, or Chinese Yew, is a dense evergreen with pointed, leathery, dark green leaves arranged on stiff, symmetrical branches (very much like a pine tree.)
This tropical bonsai tree has male flowers in cones and female flowers, so it can self-propagate.
The fruits are edible, fleshy and brightly colored.
New foliage appears light green, and darkens with age. This one-of-a-kind, master artisan created bonsai tree is trained in the traditional bonsai style with a curved trunk and tiered branches (pads.)
Can survive indoors, but would like a summer vacation when the temperature warms up.
