Red Vietnamese Dragon Fruit variety comes from the genus Hylocereus and the species guatemalensis. The plant is self-pollinating with an average fruit size of 1 pound. The fruit is round and with greenish-red skin and purple sweet flesh.

It can be a high producer once mature depending on your location. This variety has an average brix rating of 18 to 19.  Flower bud to flower is 30 days then an additional 32 days is average time to harvest.
