Growing Aloe Vera Barbadensis
- Plant Aloe Vera (Barbadensis) in a location with bright, indirect sunlight or partial shade, as it prefers protection from intense sunlight.
- Water the plant deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between watering sessions to prevent root rot.
- Use well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix, to prevent water-logging and root rot, as Aloe Vera prefers dry conditions.
- Aloe Vera is hardy in USDA zones 9-11 and thrives in warm, arid climates.
- Prune the plant occasionally to remove dead or damaged leaves and maintain its attractive, rosette shape.
