Sun Parasol Crimson, in the original group, is the first red mandevilla on the market that stays true to color. Varieties within the groups are versatile in the home landscape and are ideal when used as patio and balcony plants, in hanging baskets and also in flowerbeds.

A natural climber, Sun Parasol can be used in conjunction with trellises or other supports, can trail from pots, and can even be allowed to find support from other plants in the landscape.

Plant Characteristics 

With its strong growth habit, glossy deep green foliage, and abundance of deep red, 2- to 3-inch flowers, it is no surprise this is a top seller! Its superior branching and somewhat compact, bushy habit make it an ideal choice for a trellis or hanging basket, or a container with climbing support. A frost-tender evergreen.

Shipping

Your plant will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. The plant will be between 12” to 14” in height with well-developed roots. These plants have been growing in one gallon containers. Planting guidelines will also be included.
