Echium Candicans Pride of Madeira is a perennial plant. It is an evergreen shrub native to the Madeira Islands of Portugal. It grows well in full to partial sun and has attractive gray-green and cream-variegated leaves. In mid to late summer, it produces long slender spikes of brilliant blue blossoms. Ideal for use as a low screen or at the back of a border, it prefers low-watered soils and has a mounding growth habit.

• Water sparingly once established, as it is drought tolerant; avoid overwatering.

The plant will have well-developed roots. These plants have been growing in one gallon containers.  They will be shipped without the containers.  The roots and soil will be dampened and covered in plastic wrap prior to shipping.  They will be ready to plant upon arrival.
