With a strong scent of peppermint, this spreading geranium is desired for its pleasant aroma and large velvety leaves. The evergreen perennial produces small flowers in spring and summer. Purple markings stand out on the white petals of the flowers.
The groundcover does best in light shade or partial sun exposure. Best in well draining soil. Frequent to occasional water. This Pelargonium is fast-growing and requires frequent maintenance to keep tidy. Its pettable leaves are covered with soft white hairs that, in the right light, add a glow around the large maple-shaped leaves. Add to large containers, grow as a groundcover in sun-dappled spots, and enjoy the true-mint fragrance.
