Indian Hawthorn Plant Rhaphiolepis 'Majestic Beauty'

Indian Hawthorn is an evergreen shrub with a medium growth rate and is shaped in a dense upright oval form. It has large attractive leathery dark-green oval leaves with clusters of fragrant light-pink flowers in late winter to early spring. Drought tolerant once established.

The Majestic Beauty cultivar of the Indian Hawthorn is among the largest cultivar available, with big beautiful leaves nearly twice the size as many other Rhaphiolepis.  It can be used as a large dense background shrub or trimmed up to be a small accent tree.  As a tree, they can reach up to 20 feet tall by 15 feet wide.  Prolific pink flowers cover this shrub in Spring and have a mild fragrance. 

Plant Rhaphiolepis Majestic Beauty in full sun or light shade.  Once established, they are quite drought tolerant and will require only occasional watering.  The Majestic Beauty is easy to grow and low to moderate maintenance.  It is also fairly resistant to many pests and diseases.   USDA Zones 7-11. 

Your plant will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. The plant will be between 1 to 2 feet in height with well-developed roots. These plants have been growing in 5 gallon containers. Planting guidelines will also be included.
