Lemon Bottlebrush Melaleuca citrina

Lemon Bottlebrush is an evergreen shrub in the myrtle family that is native to Australia and South Wales. It grows 8 to 15 feet tall and wide. The yellow or red flowers occur in long bottlebrush looking clusters in spring and again in fall. 

There are several cultivars available with different colored flowers. It is hardy down to 20-25 degrees F and would need winter protection in zone 8. It prefers well-drained soils in full sun and is drought tolerant.

You will receive 4 well rooted plants. Your plants will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. The plants will be between 2 to 3 inches in height and have been growing in a 3.5 inch square pots.
