Gran Nain is an outstanding banana variety growing from 6 to 8 feet tall and solid green in color. Very attractive for its landscaping potential and good wind resistance. The 'Gran Nain' produces very large heads of delicious fruit. It is a very quick ripening. 'Gran Nain' has no problem producing 40-60 lbs of fruit. This is the varieity you will find at the supermarket.

How to Care for Gran Nain Banana Plant

Banana plants thrive in good light, water thoroughly but never allow to sit in water. Feed balanced fertilizer that's high in potassium every few months,and protect from frost. The thick green foliage also allows for improved resistance to leaf shred caused by winds—a common problem for all bananas. A true indoor/outdoor plant: best for gardeners brings the plant into the home or conservatory for the winter.

You will receive two Gran Nain banana plants.

Your plants will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. The plants will be between 3” to 5” in height with well-developed roots. Planting guidelines will also be included.
